Magnetic Separator Common Troubles

1.The reasons of magnetic separator motor with overheat and uncommon noise:
a.Bearings with poor lubrication or abrasion serious;
b.Fan blades out of its' positionor abrasion;
c.Switch line with bad connection or off line run single phase;
d.Voltage is too low.
2.There is an unnormal sound when the magnetic separator working,maybe the drum cylinder was stuck by obstacle, even lead to the drum cylinder can't running, the bottom frame shaking. At this time, you should shut down for maintenance, slove the problems.
3.Reducer with overheat reasons:
a.Shorting of oil or poor oil quality;
b.Gear and worm pole abrasion serious or meshing badly;
c.Bearings with poor lubrication or abrasion serious.
4.Magnetic separator magnetic field strength becomes weak reasons:
a.High temperature;
b.Sun exposure;
c.Acid corrosion.
So, you can use a gauss meter to measure the magnetic field strength.
